Laura Batchelor | Landscape Architect
BLA Hons (1st), BSc, NZ Certificate in Horticulture (Level 3)
Growing up between Christchurch and the MacKenzie high country, Laura developed an early love for the hills, native bush and the outdoors. With a background in ecology, she discovered her passion for plants and landscape design while working at the local DOC nursery on Stewart Island.
Laura completed a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture in 2011 and has since worked across a diverse range of landscapes, from reserves and community spaces to historic places and residential gardens. Her further study in horticulture has deepened her plant knowledge and continues to shape her design approach.
Laura enjoys creating thoughtful outdoor spaces that connect people with nature. Outside of work, she loves running in the hills, gardening, and painting the landscapes that inspire her in acrylics and watercolours.
June | Office Companion
When not aerating the compost heap or ‘helping’ dig over the garden, she is often found sleeping next to the office heater or basking in a ray of sun.
June ensures daily adventure/exercise and loves a good walk through the gardens or up the hill!
